A strike by workers protesting a pro-Zionist exhibition erupted at the Wing Luke Asian American Museum in Seattle on May 22. Twenty-six museum staffers walked out in opposition to a large walled text conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism in the exhibition "Contesting Hate Together."  The

The workers are withholding their labor until their demands are met. The Wing Luke Museum calls itself the only AA/NHPI cultural and historical museum in the United States. It has a reputation as a very progressive museum, but it has become beholden to its Zionist partner organization in exhibiting “Contesting Hate Together.”

The workers’ collective has received tremendous support from the community and pro-Palestinian forces nationally. Hundreds of messages of support have been sent in as part of a mass letter-writing campaign.
