-edited for results- NSFW Content is now fully permitted BUT it must be tagged. Any NSFW content that has not been tagged and blurred will be removed. Content warnings should also be added to the title in brackets. Example: [penis] or: [explicit description of sex]. Non-sexualized breasts of any gender are not considered inappropriate and therefore do not need to be blurred/tagged. Yes, even female breasts. IRL GORE IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CONDITION.

IMO breasts should be tagged in a way that lets people know what’s in the image before they open it. In an ideal world we wouldn’t have to but there are people who browse either this community or all /c/s on Lemmy and wouldn’t want to have uncensored mega honkers show up on their phone without a warning

As long as something that might get me in trouble if my boss saw it is marked as nsfw (and so blurred by default) i don’t care. So i think any level is fine so long as it’s tagged appropriately

Edit: I wasn’t thinking about gore. Personally i’d prefer that not be allowed but if it is and blurred i can accept that

Personally, I’m fine with sexual content as long as it’s marked properly. But gore (aka NSFL content) should not be allowed here

I’m cool with it as long as it’s marked, I just think we need to establish a line on what counts as NSFW or not since some things toe the line. Like are we hardline marking anything even remotely sexual, or just things that are clearly NSFW. Obviously the former would be easier to moderate because of the subjective nature of things, so I wouldn’t be opposed to that.

Also do mods not have the ability to edit a post so they are marked as NSFW if it’s not already marked?

I am merely following the will of the people. It was pretty unanimous that ppl liked ironic cannibalposting so now it’s allowed!

… just because people voted for it doesn’t mean you had to accept it. You do know what cannibalism is right? Whats the limit, what are you allowing next simply because people voted for it

next thing you know theres gonna be a goddamn vote set for terrorism and he’s going to allow that because the majority agreed to it. I find it mad how cannibalism is allowed here out of all things, some of the admins have their face as their pfp as well, really weird how they’re openly pushing cannibalism like that

Ok dude chill it’s literally just memes where it’s like an anime girl and the caption is like “sorry I hope you don’t mind but I drugged you and am going to take your kidneys now.” No one is actually condoning cannibalism, and no one is posting anything NSFL.

oh just because its “ironic” or its a meme it’s fine?

                  ???

also it’s not like you defined any limits when pushing out the rule either, there’s nothing stopping a genuine cannibalism community from developing, outside of people memeing.
