Well when most employers can fire you at any time for almost any reason (at-will employment) and your healthcare is tied to your job then… yeah, employers can treat their employees pretty poorly and get away with it, especially if you work in something like fast food or big box retail where plenty of young, unskilled workers are entering the workforce every year that they can replace you with.

I want a pokemon RPG game. Give me a type- specific skill tree that I as a trainer can earn xp and level up. Fire moves deal +10% dmg, burn chance up +5%, water moves deal -10% dmg, etc. Maybe some general ones too like catch chance +5%, wild pokemon encounters -10% (or +10%), money earned +10%, etc.

So many trainers seem to be focused on one or two specific types, why not encourage the player to do the same? Allow players to re-spec with the professor if they want to change things up.

YouTube used to be good for music until they put 2 ads before AND after EVERY VIDEO!

I know this comes off as “old man yelling at clouds” but there used to be a time when there were NO ads on YouTube. You could make an entire playlist of songs without having to hear a single ad.

Ok I’ll try to explain it. Imagine before if your company had 100 people and they all needed offices so you rent a place that has 100 offices.

Now you switch to work from home and let’s say only 20 people really need office space since the other 80 can just work from home.

Why would you continue to rent the building with 100 offices? You wouldn’t. Instead you find a place with maybe 30 max. And you’re not the only company doing this too.

So now nobody really wants or needs huge office spaces and the people who own these have trouble finding new tenants, demand isn’t very high so they’ll have to lower prices. That’s what people refer to, since the value of these buildings is partially based on the income they can produce. If that goes down then so does the overall value of the building.

It doesn’t hurt the employer unless they themselves just spent A TON of money building their own huge building. Then it would be mostly empty and a huge waste of money so it would look bad.

It’s not the tuition? The same tuition that has risen 70% in the last 20 years? The same tuition that colleges know they can charge any amount cuz the government will give out loans regardless. That’s not the issue?

I’m not saying colleges aren’t getting less state funding but I just don’t see colleges lowering tuition if they got more state funding. They’d keep charging more cuz they know they can.

Better solution would be a cap on tuition imo.

But even no interest loans or at the very least let them be discharged in bankruptcy would be better than what we have.

Don’t worry their next festival is gonna be in the DMZ between North and South Korea, should be a real banger.
