A gentle reminder that you can also do anonymous torrenting in i2p.
Geti2p.net I believe is the site to visit.
The UK would have been on par with France.
It’s definitely one layer of security. If it’s your only layer then you’re in trouble.
Huh, criminal gang related. That was unexpected.
Page refused to load more than the headline for me. So was it nazis or islamists they arrested? Those two are always the prime suspects.
Shhh, don’t tell the Brits or they might try to rejoin.
The “EU army” was apparently a big thing during the referendum.
J/k, I’d love to see the UK back in the bloc.
I’m not defending the title. I hate clickbait as much as anyone, which is why I put Austria as a comment. If I had changed the headline someone else would have objected to that. I use the one the paper sets. Always have, always will.
But if you feel so strongly about it, make a post with a headline that you agree with. Nothing stopping you.
Or just accept that papers have bad headlines sometimes and move on.
Or just use the “Copy suggested title” and move on. Not sure why you get triggered by a title.
You’d have to take that up with The Independent.
For me it was a rather large tree that I hit at about 100km/h (+60mph).
Tree was fine. Car, not so much. The ambulance ride was nice though, and the first responders thought we were extremely lucky to be alive.
Wear your seat belts kids.
Been there, done that. 0/10. Do not recommend.
I absolutely would, or my wife would be very annoyed with me.
Also I’d have a stern talk with said 20- something as (s)he’d have no business in my bed in the first place.
Tesla is expected to appeal the decision though. This was just the first court. We have 3, the last being the supreme Court.
Not a fan of a lot of what the current gov’t is doing, but they deserve some credit for this, although they could also have taken the opportunity to educate Tesla that there’s a free market in Sweden and that the gov’t doesn’t intervene in conflicts between companies and unions.
They already pay above the normal workshop wage in Sweden so the issue isn’t about that. It’s about the collective agreement. You can always go above that, so the argument that they already pay more doesn’t hold. It’s about worker protections and setting a minimum.
Funny thing is that some tesla representative wanted a meeting with someone from the Swedish government and they flat out refused, saying that this was between the workers and employers unions.
I think Milei is for it but the previous (current) gov’t isn’t? Milei is very much for free market isn’t he?
A sympathy strike? Perfectly legal in the Nordics. Not so in the UK I’m told.
Seem that the workers are doing the first but also Postnord arguing that they can’t be held liable because they can’t interfere with the workers right to strike.
The second point seems weird to me. Why would you want to affect companies where the union and the company agree? Jack is being mean to me so I’m going to fight back by punching both Jack and Jill in the face, even though she’s always been nice
Let’s see where this ends up. Last word is not said in this saga.
Isn’t that just limiting the workers right to strike?
It’s perfectly legal to hire scabs in Sweden BTW. Frowned upon, but legal.
