You could not have described my exact scenario any better. I’m in the same boat.

I have a 2015 leaf and while the estimated battery range has gone from 90’s to 60’s on mileage, it’s still kicking and gets me around the city just fine.

Simply amazing:

One effort addresses fuel residue that seems to be accumulating inside narrow tubes in some of the thrusters on the spacecraft. The thrusters are used to keep each spacecraft’s antenna pointed at Earth. This type of buildup has been observed in a handful of other spacecraft.

The team is also uploading a software patch to prevent the recurrence of a glitch that arose on Voyager 1 last year. Engineers resolved the glitch, and the patch is intended to prevent the issue from occurring again in Voyager 1 or arising in its twin, Voyager 2.

In my opinion it’s a needless extra step. I have had my card number compromised before and it was very little hassle to get a new card and my out of pocket was $0. Debit cards would be a completely different discussion however.

I’ve installed this on an old Chromebook already and it does work. You have to dig around for it a bit online but it has been available publicly for a while.

However , surprise, if it’s an old Chromebook you’re going to have to remove the internal write protect screw or use a Susie-q cable to make it the primary operating system on the device as they never intended for you to overwrite the existing os.

You can boot from usb or dual boot though.
