Reminds me of the mother and son from Color Out Of Space.
A site’s terms of service may state that you grant certain permissions regarding the content you post, but that’s typically so that they can display it in other people’s feeds. It takes pretty explicit consent to give up or transfer your copyright to another entity. So while you’re granting permission to transmit what you post to others, it would be a really difficult case to make that you have given up your ownership of what you post. For example, if you post a photo you took to Lemmy, you’re granting your instance permission to distribute it across the fediverse, but you still own the photo.

The Blackberry KeyOne. A tall touchscreen combined with the classic BB physical keyboard and running on Android. It was a great phone and I’d still be using it today if the battery didn’t die. I still haven’t adapted well to touchscreen keyboards.
The reason why I hate people is because of the things they do to hurt each other, because I actually like people.
I really like the hand drawn art style for Shinobi.
That’s what I like about The Orville, actually. Even when the series became more serious, I still saw it as like Star Trek if all the officers were actual people.
I say it like George Takei saying “oh my”.
Cynical is probably the wrong word for what I was thinking of. I’m mostly referring to Mariner and her “too cool for school” attitude and teasing Boimler. She comes across as too negative to me.
Ah, here’s where we diverge. I still like the new BSG. It got a bit too psychedelic in the later seasons making everything feel too dreamy, but overall I like it. I actually have the same complaint about season 4 of Farscape when Crichton spends half the episodes stoned, but it’s still one of my favourite shows. I’m a sucker for a creepy Jim Henson puppet show.
I’m curious if you also like Farscape and Firefly. Maybe we’re onto a highly specific sub-fandom.
I love The Orville. Before Strange New Worlds, I considered it the only good nu-Trek out there.
Thanks! I did like how they even pointed out how fast Mariner and Boimler talk compared to the Enterprise crew in the crossover with SNW. But I definitely prefer the latter. Maybe that’s a sign I’m getting old. Can’t keep up with what the kids are saying these days.
I felt the exact same way. I was okay with Discovery and Picard not being for me because I had The Orville.
I don’t think Kirk’s expression works for this. It’s more accusatory where DiCaprio’s is trying to figure out from where you recognize something or a surprised revelation.
Why’d they have to jazz it up like that?

3-button Genesis controller.
Elden Ring is a great one, especially with the Seamless Co-op Mod. Besides that, my friends and I used to play Borderlands 2 and Outriders.
