Why does it have to be frozen? (1) fridge trucks are a thing , but (2) making pizza dough isn’t a huge deal. Heck, Cici’s make theirs fresh in-store, and that’s CICIs
Instead of a “renaissance man”, I’m a “renaissance nerd”. Pinball? Sure. Sci-fi? Of course. video games? Natch. 70’s Italian Prog-rock? A raison d’etre.

Android was still a year+ out at that time (first beta came out in Nov 2007, though). Thanks, I did forget Symbian. Thanks for the opportunity to dig through the rest, though.
What competition? At that point it was BlackBerry and WinCE. Oh, and PalmPilot.
All I have to say is “Christ, what the hell is that fish? That thing is freaking enormous “
That’s a holiday experience that rivals having 4 sets of in-laws over for the week of Christmas
Yes, but your 1650 is still the bottleneck
You’re doing it wrong. You want more fries, to distract from the thinner burger. Fries are cheaper than meat. They eat the fries and burger and are still full, it seems like a bargain. Also see: fluffy bun.
Yeah, they’re mostly novellas, and wouldn’t mind reading some Murderbot again. :)
No, it’s also Sony’s fault for not making a contract that says “bought means bought forever”. Sony isn’t making contracts like that where they can get screwed over later. Just making them that way when it affects you.
Is there a trick I’m missing? Spray my butthole for 30 seconds and I need pretty much as much TP, actually more because the first batches get wet.
And FWIW Legends and Lattes was low-stakes, low-key, and comfy-enjoyable
I’m with you on Redshirts in So Many Ways, but there are some bangers in the past 20. Spin was good, Rainbows End was really good, I know the Yiddish Policeman’s Union was highly lauded, I loved The City & The City, Ancillary Justice was fantastic in all the ways Sci-fi should be, The Three Body Problem was really good, I know that Jemesin was loved, The Calculating Stars was excellent, I’m currently working through A Memory Called Empire (but Gideon The Ninth was AMAZEBALLS), Network Effect was fun - but I love Murderbot. For 2022 I loved Master of Djinn (that’s some great worldbuilding there) and for 2023 The Spare Man was the “Thin Man in space” I didn’t know I needed (but am totally the target audience for).

Yes, Tor hypes their own stuff, but they’ll step outside in several of their blogs. James has a LOT of thoughts, and reviews a ton. IO9 isn’t the same since it’s two main editors left to write books, but still has coverage.
Hope this helps.
I’m not going to lie, I like the widget UI in that photo.
The miniatures shop called and told us to let you know.
“Extended warranty? How can I lose?!” “Perfect”
Trump, if that wasn’t a WHOOSH
Relatives had something similar happen. Got to the point of putting cash in a USPS flat-rate box before thinking “wait, this isn’t how you post bail” and called the person supposedly in-trouble.
Interesting! Knew about Pizza Hut, somewhat surprised on Little Caesar’s.
