  • I just switched, yesterday, to Bitwarden after fumbling around and try to find a way to delete 23 passwords. After deleting like 10 of them, I said fuck it and checked here for a better alternative. Side note… it sucks losing those passwords, idk what they were but one day they could have been useful. 🤷‍♂️

A couple of other things that bothered me about Dashlane since the transition? They don’t let you rate them under 5 stars from the app, and they don’t let you delete your account at all. I just went ahead and deleted the passwords, and cleared it out after copying everything over.

  • The foam ones I bought are pretty awesome, so far. And they’re light weight enough for me as an amateur. I’ve been a long time runner, and recently moved to biking to continue my cardio without the hard impact of running.

Now, I’m not some fancy runner, either. Just for fitness. On my ‘in season’ I could get 20-30 miles a week, or in ‘off seasons’ 5 miles. 😂🤦‍♂️

But, regardless these foam ones I got are pretty decent and allow me to drive on my shitty inner city roads (with tons of gentrification construction and nails from that) without worry. Granted, I moved to what we call ‘the beltline’ after I got the new tires… but, either way, you can’t puncture foam. 😂🤷‍♂️

There’s a US news community, too. News is news, world news is news happening in the world (that can also be interesting to people in other parts of the world and the US is in the world, too), and USA news is just USA news. Same with any other country specific news. If you want more ‘other places in the world’ world news here, then post some.

Edit: to make an even bigger point. I live in Atlanta, GA, USA. So, I like seeing the Atlanta community, and the Atlanta News one, Georgia news one, and the USA news one, and the Politics one, and the other half dozen other ones that directly pertain to me as a person who lives in ATL, and each tier above and around it.

This Georgia Indictment news pops up in all of them, and I understand. But, they’re all relevant to those communities so I’m not going to bitch about it. If I care about it, I’d find a way to fix it on my end because this it’s all still relevant there.

(Up to them changing the rules and blocking US news in the World News community… but, then how would everyone hear about their neighbor electing a crazy person and/or how that person took the presidency by force of coup and now controls the nuclear codes and the largest and/or most powerful military in the world?)

  • The PKI bullet comes with its own damn issues, though. I understand it is more secure, but fucking Christ neither I nor the recipient can access that email and the email chain next month for some fucking certificate issue related reason.

Now, WTF did we say in that email? What was the work around for that issue that we had that month? Do we even fucking remember what we were talking about?

I hate it, it’s bad. Maybe it’s just the army’s email and not like that in other corporate or military email systems. I regularly pull up old email chains to review what we did back when, to spin myself back up on issues and work arounds, to then RE the email for a situation update request, etc. if I can’t access them, which is a common issue, then it’s causing more harm than help.
