Working in a foundry or an oil rig. They both seem like pretty shit jobs due to the hazards, materials and conditions.

Not completely safe being out hiking and blocking off your ability to hear your surroundings. I think it’s completely acceptable to be considerate while out with a Bluetooth speaker.
Every try Cranberry orange relish? Take a bag of cranberries and an orange, process them or blend them to a finely chopped consistency. Add ab9it a half cup of sugar to start, then sweeten up slowly. The next day it’s a great mix of sweet and tangy.
Cheesecake and cranberry-orange relish. Such a great combo!!
Especially with Microsoft Teams. Teams is such a powerful application for businesses. It’s a pain in the ass to use on my work iPhone. ID love to have MS Phone again. They were well built and I never had any software or battery issues.
Sup dood.
I was hoping Cyberpunk 2077 would be an answer closer to Deus Ex than what we got with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. But the skill tree and upgrades weren’t doing it for me. Not to mention the game running like shit and being rushed out the door.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution…Man when I saw that first teaser trailer I had tears in my eyes. Another game in my all time favorite series so many years later? AND it’s a prequel!!!
But I was pretty dissapointed. I felt the game was pretty watered down vs Deus Ex, which was also a complaint about DE2 (apart from the console favoring nature of it). The prequel aspect was also pretty dissapointing. A couple characters in the game, Gunther Hermann and Anna Navarre, were extremely noticeably mechanically augmented individuals who looked more like mechanical abominations than flesh and blood human beings. Yet in Deus Ex: Human Revolutions you did not become more machine looking as you gained augmentations. You have your limbs put in place at the beginning and that’s the change, a very sleek and stylish augment. I expected to see a more grounded take from the high tech in Deus Ex, but instead was met with an entirely different universe like Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the first of its kind. Deus Ex is still and always will be my most favorite game of all time. I really hope something miraculous happens and the original game is done justice, but as long as Square Enix holds the title I highly doubt they will give the universe enough time, care and love that the original got (as a passion project).
Absolutely LOVE it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched the series and I am currently on another go thru of it. It’s definitely a joke in the beginning and some jokes miss, but I love how they get into some good topics halfway through.
Currently re-watching The Orville for the 100 somethingth time! Love the show so much!
Ohh yeah that rich guy with the school girl? Huh, I forgot about that. Yikes, I wonder why that was even a part that needed put in the anime. Her story/character is the worst part of Initial D IMO, even without the pedo sub plot.
I’m not big into Anime, but FMA and Initial D have become my favorites to watch time and time again.
I remember going over to my buddy’s place. He had this hovercraft game and it was the most unplayable garbage ever, but it was fun because you were racing against other people on the internet. You were lagging so hard and getting maybe 10 or less frames. Garbage experience, but an experience nonetheless lol.
Funnily enough, under this post in my feed, is a post that says Lemmy.World and Sh.itjust.works are DOWN. Lol
Simple Plan. They had some popular songs, but looking back, their lyrics were/are cringy. But on the upswing, they had good intention in them.
Something to do with systems integration (PLC, fanuc we’re a couple subreddits I was subbed to). Also I miss the BMW Z4 sub, seeing new owners pop up, helping others with fixing stuff on their Z4, etc.
Honest Question with a long windup: I’m not looking forward to the forced Win11 update, tried Win11 and would rather keep 10…
If I made the swap to Linux, what happens to my Steam Library? Don’t many of those games need Windows to run? I have a SteamDeck and understand Valve has created their own thing to fool games into thinking their played on Windows, but that’s just SteamOS for a handheld. Sorry, I know I can look up this information online, I would like to hear it from someone personally rather than some blog or website article.
Idk much about Wagner group, but I thought they were hired mercenaries? Why would a mercenary leader want to take over government? If anything I’d think they’d install their own puppets for government - which is probably just as bad if not worse.
Anyone of my simulation/management games. Whether it’s running a hospital, creating an auto manufacturing assembly line or helping some brave adventurers find oxygen I’m always more at peace with a single player goal driven experience.
I’m not wrong. I’m stating my opinion. If I am wrong in stating my opinion than you are wrong as well for stating your opinion. I have a pair of open headphones, Audio Technica R70X. They still allow music to escape just as bad as it would be for a Bluetooth speaker to be playing at low volume. Perhaps Samsung Buds Pro 2 could work, but why would you want to seal yourself away from nature that much if you’re out hiking? Bluetooth speaker has been an appropriate choice in my experience.
