you are literally in such instance, we have only blocked cp or extremists so far. But you can easily switch to any other instance ;D its the magic of lemmy. If you wait until 0.19 then you can even export all your settings, blocks and subscriptions

Steam could pusht stuff like that too! They pushed linux compatibility with steamdeck and i could see that they push it with their vr headset. and they just need to improve the linux compatibility and then theoretically both steamos and all other linux distros can run easily steamvr

There will probably not be a SD2 in the next year. And i hope it isnt coming out soon as the SD OLED got released relatively recently and it would be just a “why” when they release 2 “New” handhelds in like 1-2 years. And the OLED is already the perfect console to game. It has compatibility with like 95% of games and it can run them with ease on good optimized games on high and not optimized on low - medium, touchpad is accurate, the trackpads are the best and repairability and upgradability is just great! The only thing i would want is a new Steam Controller, in a nutshell SD but without the display.

But for those “I hate that instance BLOCK IT!!! FOR MURICA!!!” A instance wide defederation is too much. But for those really bad like csam or racist, radical instances it is the best to defederate.

But with that “reward” program its rather suspiscious to do such program. And generally in times like today, where every company wants to brick old game consoles to force them to play the more locked up newer console. But lets hope nintendos intension isnt that.

Every instance is good because every instance can interact with many other instances with comments, posts etc. So you arent really locked into one instance. its the magic of federation.

Steamdeck is for me everything even new ones like Armored Core, Cyberpunk etc… and indies and even old ones like half life. Everything possible through proton.
