I wish I could give you a source but I recall this from college almost 20 years ago. If you read into “contract law” you will arrive there pretty quickly. It’s one of the main principles

You’re right. I just want to add the proper terms for people to search for in case this information helps them. The main matters considered in contract law are “consideration and performance”. Happy hunting y’all. Take down these corporations that do not care for you.
I once successfully defended myself from a lawsuit by invoking a previous TOS. The court allowed me to choose any version of the TOS that benefited me the most. It was akin the doctrine in contract law that ambiguity is always found to be detrimental to the drafter of the contract.
FYI, light degrades THC into CBN.
So you don’t dry yourself after using a bidet?
They also regularly have independent security audits
and their servers run everything on RAM meaning the second it loses power all data is lost.
Don’t forget exposing national secrets. From satellite and submarine capabilities to nuclear capacity.
Trump is a traitor.
It was never a bet. It was him attempting to inflate the price by saying he would buy it above the share price at the time. It was an attempt at market manipulation and the SEC made him go through with it.
Yeah, that’s going to happen. The features that make website useful are the same features used to track everything. It’s a sliding scale from usability to privacy. The further you go in one direction the less you get from the other.
Mullvad also has a browser.
So you took your experience with an admittedly bad car and generalized all other cars based on it?
If I buy a Kia I shouldn’t expect it to drive like a Bentley just because they both have an IC engine.
I have been driving one for years. I only put gas in it on road trips. No need for extra charging time just go. For daily activities I never need to use gas. You’re spreading from speculation, I’m speaking from experience.
Admittedly, they are heavier. You got that bit right. I still got 40mpg on road trips.
Plug in hybrids are the best of both worlds. Any of the Toyota primes would be the ideal vehicle for most people. Too bad it’s near impossible to get one even if you have the money.

Does anyone know if a LLM has been trained on something like scihub?
I upvoted my previous comment and it now shows 2 upvotes for me. When I go to the original instance it only shows 1 upvote.
On kbin the votes start at 0 for both up and downvotes. If I don’t manually vote on my comment it will show me 0 votes after posting. I have no idea how it appears on other instances.

Yes this is something that Kbin users can do (by selecting More > Activity on a post) and I believe Lemmy users can do this too but not with the native inrerface
I’m on kbin and confirm that I can see who votes and if they upvoted or downvoted for posts and comments. It’s really fun to use and see people upvote their own comment.
You’re right. I only wanted to include the search term for anyone wanting to pursue this on their own. I think it is better to search the proper term and build knowledge from there than to summarize it and hope laymen understand the underlying principles.
