Very similarly, I’d probably say ‘5 past 6’.
They’d need the high level spell slots as well, is the only thing.
The only part of it that I think is really out of place and would make me unhappy is that it’s the first counterspell he used.
If that’s been a pattern and it’s a higher lethality game in general, then all’s fair. But springing a counterspell on them at the last moment might make me a bit… bitter.
Fair. I don’t exactly have high hopes for it lol.
On one hand, I don’t at all like Embracer. On the other hand, the longer Embracer exists the more likely we get that KotOR remake.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071DN62GW Here’s an HDMI switch with PIP. Zero clue how good of an experience that would be, but that sort of thing exists.
Starfield had a lot of issues, and the mid asf performance was a relatively minor one.
75hz here. I thought it was pretty weird. It’s basically extra spicy 60hz.
I agree that we have a two tiered justice system.
I don’t really agree that this is an example of that.
A: homie isn’t walking free. He’s in prison waiting to hear exactly how long he’ll be in prison.
B: The thing with poor people getting gaps between verdict and sentencing is only a thing because of the scale of crimes involved. Someone rich is going to need to commit way more significant crimes that will require more in depth consideration for the punishment.
If a rich person commits a minor crime they’ll almost certainly manage to get off. A poor person is almost certainly going to get a verdict and an immediate sentencing.
Welcome to capitalism, where making insane amounts of profit isn’t good enough unless it’s 5% more insane than it was last year.
Honestly I think the part of this that surprises me is that he got fired for this… in the 1980s.
I wonder if there’s an ask historians thread on exactly when racism became “denormalized”, if that’s a word.
Basically just a list of topics the DM and the players might be uncomfortable with or just not tolerate.
A lot of people use ‘lines and veils’ where a line is a hard no and a veil is fine as long as it’s happening offscreen.
As an example, as the DM I would have sexual assault down as a line. I just don’t want it in my games. A veil would be something where it can happen and be referenced but not occur in front of us or be overly dwelled on. I’d have sex in general as a veil as well as things like torture. I’m just not comfortable enough with those topics to roleplay them actively.
Okay yeah I see it now thanks.
I don’t, what is this a reference to?
Fabricate would work fantastically, and I think you’re underestimating the amount of money you can make with some craftsman stuff.
People will pay a lot for well done custom made stuff. Knives, swords, furniture… all of it is worth a sizable amount once you have any kind of reputation and start taking commissions. I mean thousand dollar chandeliers and multiple thousand dollar tables.
No shit.
The solution there is that ideally no human is allowed to make a mistake significant enough to have any impact.
If Bob the nuclear engineer does something fucking stupid, but there’s an automated failsafe that resolves the problem… was there really that big of a problem?
This issue is… that stuff gets expensive quick.
…beers? 4-5 beers over the course of a night is fine. Especially if you’re a larger person. I’m a pretty big dude and unless I’m shotgunning them I can drink 2-3 beers and barely be tipsy.
I don’t even drink often, either.
Now if it’s every night or something there might be an issue.
From my understanding it’s about use. The non-stick coating will start to flake off, and you don’t want to eat the stuff.
Using metal utensils on non-stick pans is a terrible idea for this exact reason as well- they’re really hard on the coating.
