This is a crumbling country where all social services have been cut down so much that using them is pretty much impossible unless you have connections. LGBTQ people are discriminated against. Same with refugees and women. The wealth disparity between rich and poor is the biggest in the EU. People have to work multiple shitty jobs and theyre still poor. This has been happenning since the early 90s.

PO ruled for many years. Not only did they not fix any of the aforementioned issues - they made them worse. Do I have to remind you when the PO president told a man that was complaining of poverty to “change his job and take a loan”? Neoliberals are the scourge of this earth.

The Catholic Church in my country has had these for decades now. It’s called “the window of life” and it’s supposed to be an “alternative” to abortion.

Also the polish state-run media, especially public tv has broadcast right wing talking points to every television in Poland for almost a decade now. Not to mention the social media campaigns.

Full of hate and fear against women, refugees and lgbtq people. It plays right into the messaging of this party, that pretends to be against PiS but is actually controlled opposition.

For added context - the party is called Konfederacja (“confederation”) but some rightfully call it KonfedeROSJA. Rosja means russia in polish so it’s a joke about how this is a party funded by the kremlin.

They did also accidentaly kill 2 polish citizens, so it was kind of a big deal. Nobody is saying this was on purpose but it’s still bad.
