First car i bought, in 1988, was a manual. The day before i bought it, i checked out a book from the library (no internet, you know?) that told me how to drive it and “practiced” in my bedroom. I bought it and drove it home, terrified traffic would stop as i was going over a big bridge. I have an automatic now because i need an suv for work and manuals are hard to find in the US.

I’d like to have it at 71f, but it’s not going to happen. After a $$$ AC repair i can now get down to 74 instead of 78. Usually around 68-70 in the winter. How come it’s always so hot indoors when i go to places with a cold climate?

Sorry about your lettuce. Do you have a problem with rabbits and tomatoes? Every time I’ve tried to grow tomatoes they end up with one bite out of each one on the day they ripen.

I would like to do this. I checked out audio recordings from a priest about apocalypse stories as a genre and the use of numbers in the Bible, and I’ve looked at Bible as Literature classes but never signed up. Did you follow a course or study guide?

Glad you made it and are hopefully doing ok. I work with kids with disabilities and the near drowning kids or ‘choked on a pill’ kids are the hardest. I just imagine the range of emotions a family goes through in that short time.
