I pre-ordered mine back in September. Those of us who game from multiple rooms in their house this thing is amazing. Or those who have to share a TV with people who don’t use the PS5 connected to it.

You’re not wrong, but that only applies to teachers in low cost of living areas. High cost of living teachers start at $55k these days.
I also wonder how it would work. My wife clocks in when she gets to school and clocks out when she leaves, but she still lesson plans and grades papers at home.
I don’t know about the UK but in the USA slavery was abolished in the 1865, but equal rights weren’t granted until 1965. All the states were not in full compliance until the early 1970s. You could easily argue there are people still alive today directly affected by slavery.
Making slavery illegal doesn’t mean everyone suddenly starts hugging in the streets and bigotry is abolished. I’m sure these same sentiments persisted in UK but hopefully not as long as it did in the USA.
What’s wrong with Signal besides requiring a phone number?
That’s my point. Let people make that decision if they want it for free with no privacy or paid with privacy.
It’s a scam how much we are tracked without real consent and/or compensation.
That we are not paid for our browsing data, app data, etc.
You’re right. I was wrong. There is a big difference between websites and ISPs, and in my eagerness to respond I skipped that basic understanding.
I feel like their should be basic policing of the most horrific things, e.g. child porn. But you’re right, it’s impossible to filter everything out in a timely manner by websites.
Right, so then they should be operated as a public telecom and be regulated as Title II. This would allow them to be free from such lawsuits.
However, they want to remain as private for profit companies so they should be held responsible for not acting responsibly.
The artists have some control. They could opt to make their tickets non-transferable. I doubt Ticketmaster would let that happen.
But artists are awfully quiet on the matter and let Ticketmaster be the bad guy while some portion of the fees are definitely going to the artists. Especially an artist like Taylor who is smart and has actual power.
I don’t think that’s favorable treatment. Defense is 3%. Social Security is 5%. Medicaid and Medicare is also 5%.
We can afford our defense budget and make the country better for the common person by utilizing our funds more efficiently and/or moving to universal healthcare.
And another 2.5Trillion on the private side. Spend more on healthcare than any other country with the same or worse outcomes.
Yup, and that’s the exact use case for the Portal.
