The series is still great, but decisions by the company recently have really been bad.
WSL2 is faster than WSL1.
WSL2 can be slower if you are modifying Windows files as opposed to the files in the WSL system.
I feel like they could have avoided this problem by not requiring a remake of a 25 year old game not require an always online connection.

World of Warcraft. Starting out in an MMO for the first time is magical. No worries about the endgame, just the desire to explore and learn.
Plenty of developers prefer Macs to anything else. Forcing developers to use Macs for iOS development isn’t okay though.
With Diablo IV arriving soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see most, if not all of their games on Steam over the next few years.
- Automatic Love - The distortion effect caused by talking to Johnny and selecting a specific dialogue option at the end of the quest will no longer persist on the screen.
This bug was driving me crazy. I am glad they finally fixed it
Probably not. I only got thru the first act, game just isn’t for me.
Overwatch on Steam does not require b.net, so I do not see why it wouldn’t be the case with their other titles.
I do agree with having to repurchase. I don’t really play D4, so I might just wait for a big sale if I do go with a repurchase.
I swapped because I did not like the direction that Microsoft is taking Windows. It felt like just more tracking, more ads, and less control with each iteration. I always felt like Linux was better, but did not meet my need for gaming. The steam deck came out just a few months before I switched, giving me the confidence that I would still be able to play the games that I enjoy.
As other’s have suggested, PopOS is pretty good. I would also consider Nobara as well. It’s based on Fedora with plenty of tweaks that makes it much better for gaming. It also has the ability to quickly install NVIDIA drivers. after the first login.
Twitter doesn’t show the tweet they replied to.
@CyberpunkGame Will the game have Free dlc like your big brother @witchergame?
They released a bonus pack for free, so I’m not sure why it was complaining. They were never going to release a massive DLC like phantom liberty for free.
He’s not wrong. Focusing on getting out large established titles is what Microsoft was doing during the 2010s, and they have fallen because of that. They have moved towards having more smaller titles, but it hasn’t paid off quite yet.
Google has one advantage over other Android device makers. They make profit off of the Play Store at a much higher rate than they do from hardware sales. If this change brings more people over from iOS to Android, it will be an overall win for them.
Nvidia is fine on Arch, the drivers are in the base repositories.
For tutorials, the Arch Wiki is one of the best resources for Linux. If you are unsure how to do something, there is likely an article that states how to do it.
If you are unsure, I would install Arch in a VM before swapping.
I will be in my own bubble playing the game. Not looking at social media, just focused on the game.
Google isn’t that much higher and has a larger global market share.
Why would they need to release a new console for game streaming? The advantage is that it can run on anything. It would also guarantee that Sony wins that generation before it even begins.
I think that calling them next gen was okay up to the point that they became readily available.
