  • To clarify:

They’re not just saying it, they’re saying it’s an actual fact:

The first 10 weeks of the Israel-Gaza war have been the deadliest recorded for journalists, with the most journalists killed in a single year in one location, the U.S.-based Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said on Thursday.

    And it’s about a 90/10 split

Most of the journalists and media workers killed in the war - 61 out of 68 - were Palestinian.

And it’s not even just that Israel is killing anything that moves in Gaza (including their own soldiers). They’re likely targeting Palestinians journalists to both prevent the world from hearing what’s going, and to dissuade other Palestinians from becoming journalists

The report said it was “particularly concerned about an apparent pattern of targeting of journalists and their families by the Israeli military.”

  • Really didn’t have to read farther than:

The Israeli military on Wednesday said

If they wanted the global population to listen, they shouldn’t have spent decades openly and boldy lying not just to citizens but other governments.

The Israeli military campaign now is largely focused on southern Gaza, where it says Hamas’ leaders are hiding.

We all knew this would happen.

They’ll claim Hamas is somewhere, tell everyone to move while bombings continue, flatten that area, and then move on to the next.

It’s an excuse to destroy as much as possible, property and people.

Like, I have no idea who would think the average Palestinian could evacuate to safety but military leaders would just sit right and wait.

Either the IDF is completely incompetent, or their goal isn’t killing Hamas leadership to end the conflict. They just want an excuse to make Palestine inhabitable so it’s easier to steal land.

  • I think there’s one major flaw here:

You’re thinking about this as an average human.

When you have insane amounts of money, you get what you want.

He likely shopped around high price lawyers, but since he’s used to being told he’s right and a genius. He would have hired a law firm that agreed with him and said he’d be fine.

They likely knew better, but told him what he wanted to hear and took his money with a smile.

  • Huffman says that he stands by the company’s decision to charge for API access despite the fact that it was massively unpopular, and led to the demise of the leading Reddit app, Apollo …

Getting rid of 3rd party apps was obviously the goal…

Reddit wants people to use their own app, so they get the data

They could have done that by being better than 3rd party apps, but that’s hard.

So they charged them an insane amount of money, knowing it would shut them down and leave only the official app.

  • Radical Israeli settlers, who intentionally build communities in the West Bank, routinely harass and assault their Palestinian neighbors. The settlers attack their herds, burn their property, beat them, and even kill them. This violence, paired with many more subtle techniques to pressure Palestinians to give up their land, has reached unprecedented levels in the month since the terrorist group Hamas’s massacre in southern Israel on October 7. At least 15 Palestinian communities have been fully displaced.

It has been going on for years

The IDF supported that shit too.

And not support like “we think this is a good idea” but escorting them while they steal land so the rightful owners can’t fight back.

Imagine living everyday knowing someone can just show up and take your home while backed by a foreign military. And if you object in the slightest way, you’ll likely be killed and posthumously labeled a terrorist and an anti-semite.
