Why not post a link to the actual XKCD comic and give the author the views instead of a random site?
Code created by a LLM still needs to be interpreted and understood by a human so it can be made useful in a software development context. So yeah the article is exaggerating the impact of AI for coding I think, in my opinion it will become yet another tool at a developer’s disposal to speed up their work
The current Colombian government is a leftist version of the Trump administration, including an extremely corrupt populist president and with nepotism all over the place. Nothing the government does has any substance and it is all for show so I would not be surprised if these people are back to their old ways once the current president is voted out.
I’m sorry but the correct wording would be “To baldy go”
Is Johnny English on the case? Or maybe Bond?
Modern keyboards are an evolution of the old typewriter that existed before computers as we know them and programming as we know it existed, so I would say keyboard came first
Never underestimate the risk of an attack coming from the inside.
Also once you have an implementation with a certain kind of authentication other devs are likely to copy what you have successfully deployed and then your security assumptions will make it into public facing code without much consideration
Reality has a liberal bias
The best way to oppose this is to use non-chromium browsers like Firefox and take away Google’s source of power: chromium market share
In Australia BlueLink is not even an option so it is perfectly dumb and great
I have a Hyundai Kona Electric 2022 and it is a perfectly dumb electric car
This is how I feel when I rant about abandoning Chrome and moving to Firefox so we can save the he open internet from the clutches of Google
I think he is talking about the 70% of the world that uses Chrome/Chromium based browsers
This is the result of the world blindly using Chrome and other Chromium based browsers. Now with effectively full control over the browser that more than 90% of the world uses Google can force its will on the internet
This is the one I’m thinking of switching to
I chose sh.itjust.works but since then I’ve realized that it would be better to support instances that are local to me so I think I’ll move to an Australian instance. Supporting local instances might help with regional growth
Also Chromium. What do you find such a mess about Firefox? When was the last time you used it?
Brave is still Chromium based which means giving control over the internet to Google regardless
What works for me is opening a new Private windows on Firefox, with ublock installed, and then login into YouTube. I do have to login every time I hope a private windows by so far I’ve been able to watch unlimited videos with an ad blocker installed
