I mean you could do it with a otc tape library, a SAN, and a relatively inexpensive offsite tape agreement. You’d spend a couple mil setting it up. But tape, disk and support wouldn’t be unreasonable moving forward.

For the most part, never try to talk people out of religion. Some people Need skycake and the boogie man to be a reasonable human being.
I mean if the FPGA is done an asic would be doable, but someone would need to REALLY want to do it.
Somebody wrote an FPGA that plays level 1. No processor, just a great big mess of programmed wires.
Unfortunately it’s about 15 bits short.
Sorry, one bit isn’t even going to pass butter…
The problem is, none of us have real knowledge about what happened there. All we have is conjecture and/or propaganda.
It’s equally reasonably possible that he has ties in Russia.
It’s a computer in almost its simplest form.
There’s almost nothing to it, the circuit diagram is easy to read, you program it literally by flipping a couple of dip switches.
It’s kind of an experiment for someone wanting to get into retro computer or hardware design.
That said it’s essentially useless and I would much rather buy a kit from Ben Eater start with a 6502 and make something that can actually run complex programs.
Christ they’re trying to use AI face recognition on dark-skinned people. The cameras can’t see the definition in the faces to get a proper geometry.
The crap just literally doesn’t work.
The problem is we are very very sensitive to rotten food.
Water and soap will do very little to remove any of that if that’s bound itself to the plastic.
You could use a high pH solution to try to tear up any organics. An extended soak in week hydrogen peroxide or a soak in a light lye solution might get the job done.
Ozone, sunlight, retrobrite, barkeeper’s friend, vinegar they’re all trying to do the same thing destroy those organics left on the plastic. But in some cases that stuff just binds and there’s not that much you can do about it.
It’s like he had a really bad drug trip at some point and rewired some synapses
Not necessarily SpaceX but they needed something.
The problem with NASA is that the funding waxes and wains with the administrations, as does the demands of the administrations to give them the money.
If something takes more than 8 years to happen chances are the project never comes to fruition. NASA has really slowed down in development in recent decades.
Not all the innovation SpaceX is doing is really warranted, though most of it’s kind of cool. But they are investing in research and development in places that NASA simply can’t get to.
Starlink is just a way for spacex to capitalize on that research and development. They are their own sister company customer.
That said they can all turn into dog shit in a matter of months if somebody got a stick up their butt
Inexperience leads to easier marks. Someone who is otherwise markedly intelligent will fall for the silliest things on impulse.
Yeah, I wonder if he became one, or if he was already one and just did a better job at hiding it.
but my Tesla is the best ve
Sadly, you’ll never be able to say anything nice about any Musk properties here without massive downvotes by people who wouldn’t purchase anything from Musk.
The hardware (occasional bad quality control aside) is pretty awesome. My neighbor has one, His holiday update was an absolute hoot. They’re fast, clean, comfortable and are generally long lasting, low maintenance cars.
When you factor in EV and Price, there’s nothing that stands out as nicer from a pure hardware standpoint.
They could use a few more buttons inside. When they become disabled on the road, their requirement for you to have them do the towing and taking hours to do so sucks. Suing people over selling their vehicles second hand is pretty bad. No second party repairs allowed is a problem.
The real 800 lb gorilla in the room is the autopilot. The only redeemable thing about the auto pilot is that it mostly works and it’s pushing the tech forward. They have enough money to lobby congress to make it legal, all those 730+ wrecks and *42+ deaths as horrible as they are, will lead us to the feature being viable eventually.
*edit: found a newer source
I wouldn’t say they’re quite dead in the water but he definitely has plenty of power to enshitify them.
He already shut off the Ukraine from starlink when he felt like it.
Tit for tat Disney and Tesla.
If he fucks with SpaceX though, NASA can just stop dealing with them. They would go real quick from being profitable to begging for people to use their service.
If he starts getting a lot of back pressure from the EU and US on what he can launch, I can put a serious dent in his wallet.
God I fucking need that. One of my cars didn’t use a big enough variable to hold the GPS time adjustment. So it’s off by an hour randomly about 9 months out of the year. My other car is just old enough that they don’t have an update for the radio to fix the time since the last time they moved daylight savings around.
They don’t, but they manage the people that do and pay for it
To be perfectly honest they’re all fine. Most of the major distributions are install it and run it. If you try one and you don’t like it don’t get discouraged try another. If you have trouble getting your hardware working on one try a different one.
I hate the religion, I hate that there’s even a pope. But this guy, He’s the fucking best.
