I also like how Newpipe can open that link.
Ah I see, thanks for the reply! Guess I can proudly say 100% Penguin then. :)
I wouldn’t call it hate, more like disapprobation with Canonical’s choices. No one have to use Ubuntu, we have tons of distro to choose. If someone wants LTS, you can always go pure Debian way, it’s not hard to install as it’s used to be (for beginners), or there is Linux Mint Debian Edition. You can easily use flatpaks with these and keep your software up-to-date.
Is this from Steam Review? Because mine doesn’t have that part.
Perkele
I didn’t mean that for the screen and I’m sure you know it, so never mind…
If you have access to a 3D printer, ugly part is nothing to worry about.
Like others already mentioned, I would suggest Linux Mint as well. It’s better Ubuntu than Ubuntu and similarity to Windows UI would make his transition much better.
Because it’s the last one from Ascaron. I know it’s quite old and you might have problems running it (there was a dll fix on Steam guides maybe that helps). Things about Kalypso, they usually butcher the IPs they got. So Port Royale 2 is still the best one among them. (Same thing with Patrician 3)
Port Royale 2.
+1 for Zathura.
It was perfect. I don’t understand why everything must lose its soul with material design.
I use Simple Keyboard from F-Droid (rkkr’s, not the one that sold to an ad company) and it’s quite nice.
Well I didn’t say anything about the video (though apparently it sounded kinda harsh, could’ve worded better). But yeah, while the video is not perfect, it raises some very good points about Steam’s UX. Just not the correct community. However since Lemmy isn’t big enough as Reddit, I guess this is acceptable for now.
I can see how this is a good exercise for the one who makes it and maybe for others who are interested in the field. However, just because it has Steam in the title, doesn’t mean it’s related to a gaming community.
I suppose that’s the main problem, I didn’t check the article since the title reeks clickbaity enough. However I wouldn’t share an article if the the title obviously is a clickbait, I’m sure there are bunch of respectable sources about this development.
I was sick of Reddit’s clickbait titles. It’s sad to see they moved here as well.
If you don’t work at Valve, these are pretty much meaningless.
Since that 545 drivers, I cannot play with Proton 8 at all. Open source drivers don’t have this problem (their problem is performance), so it seems Nvidia f*cked up as usual. However first time hearing this. Can you play native games at least?
That’s f*cked up on so many levels
