I use Temu all the time now. It’s great for small, Chinese-made items that you would normally pickup at your local dollar store or on Amazon. The shipping is fast too, but larger items tend to be more expensive than Amazon, likely because of this. Everything that I’ve ordered has been shipped in a tightly wrapped, plastic shipping bag. This isn’t a problem for me since I’m mostly ordering low cost items that aren’t fragile, but it’s something to be aware of. I’ve never had any issues and they once gave me a late delivery credit even though my order arrived on time!
I remember hearing that they made an almost unbreakable glass, but the capitalists ditched it after reunification, having no use for something that can only profited off of once. Could this be the infamous glass? Probably not, but I can pretend.
What has the Canadian state done to materially improve the conditions of the indigenous population? It’s all lip service and no action. The major difference here is that the project of ethnic and cultural genocide was largely successful, wiping out the chance of any serious resistance movement.
It’s always projection
TTV LOL PRO works for me on Twitch.
How careless of me. Added a cw. My bad.
I was looking through the flags of the SSRs. It’s a collection that spans from beautiful to horrendous, imo. Georgia is cool because it kind of hurts my eyes to look at, but in a good way, I think. Waves on flags looks pretty good. Some of my favourite are in the “other republics” section, Bhukharan and Transcaucasia.
Happy birthday comrade!
I think about this constantly. The magnitude of societal progress hamstrung by placing the profit motive above all will only truly be understood once we transition toward an international socialism. The human potential that’s wasted away in finance, law and order, the military industrial complex, the gig economy, etc, etc. All of these industries are full of proletariat that could be pushing society forward.
The PRC is showing us that even when hindered by imperialist aggression, socialist production is far superior to capitalist production. This is why America is so afraid of China. They don’t have a counter because capitalism doesn’t offer one. They only have 1 button to push and that button is war.
That and just bringing children into what is essentially an active conflict zone.
Settlers are not civilians. They’re actively taking part in the ethnic cleansing of Palestine by occupying stolen land. They do this willingly. And shame on them for involving their children in this.
Lmao. Lenin’s display begins wheeling itself down the entryway with the international blasting in the area.
Me too, but I was previously unfamiliar with how dogshit his foreign policy is. It’s unfortunate, but ultimately not surprising. The hipocracy to spend your life advocating for the liberation of the working class in the west, but fuck everyone else. He’s just another western chauvinist.
I’m doing a little better lately. I finally found a family doctor and have a mental health appointment scheduled next month. I’m hoping to get treatment for ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I’m interested to see what’s on the other side after living ADHD and anxiety all my life, and depression for the adult portion of it.
I also recently switched teams at work and so far the work has been more interesting and the environment less stressful. It’s still early days, but things are looking good so far. My new manager also seems to not be a sociopath, so there’s that too.
As far as Israel-Palestine, the mainstream narratives have been disappointing to say the least. I suppose that’s to be expected though. In contrast to his Ukraine-Russia perspective, HasanAbi’s coverage has been excellent and uncompromising. I think there’s more of a willingness among the general public to see Israel as an oppressor whereas Ukraine has just been propoganized to hell.
I’ve been using this as an opportunity to radicalize some friends. There’s a ton of historical MSM content that supports the Palestinian struggle. Bernie’s recent statement is a good example of social democracy being the moderate wing of fascism.
If your ideology comes from a person who shares your name, but with a couple of vowels, that actually might be worse tbh.
Lmao. The “I didn’t see it so it didn’t happen” defence. Take a time out and you can have a juice box 👶🧃
That’s what op was advocating for. Or did you forget that Israel is an apartheid state?
This article feels extremely dogmatic to me. I fail to see how a renewed investment in the war effort in Ukraine doesn’t pose the same problem, stretching defence resources thin, that this think tank is fear mongering over. Hell, sending more weapons to Ukraine would likely be worse since many of them will likely go “missing” anyway and Ukraine doesn’t have enough men to arm with them.
