OS X has a decent terminal app and has zsh included as default shell. Mac OS 9 effectively had no CLI at all.

Windows Media Player 9 only ripped CDs to WMA files because it didn’t include a licensed mp3 encoder. It didn’t support MP3 ripping directly until WMP10 in 2004.
Yeah but they weren’t very good. iPod was the first one with a high speed connection, hard drive, practical means of scrolling through hundreds of songs, desktop software for synchronization. It was a pretty huge improvement.
Pretty much all set top boxes have this problem. At least you can use your phone or voice search on the remote. I’m pretty sure you can connect a Bluetooth keyboard as well.
When the Threadripper Pro came out, you could get a machine from Lenovo with 12-16 cores for around $1800 including some ram, ssd, and a gpu. I just checked and now they start at $2800 for a zen 3 TR Pro with 32/1TB/A2000. It doesn’t seem like there is a practical way to build one yourself affordably for Zen 4 or Intel for that matter. A Xeon 3435X and mobo is also around $2500 for 112 lanes.
You’re right, that’s a paid plan. I guess my point was more that you need to look out for your own interests a bit. If his storage has been read-only for the past 6 months then that would be a strong clue to do something about it.
How is Google getting rich off his free account?
Cloud storage like that cost $3-6k per month without egress fees, depending on service. He could’ve been a little more skeptical about the free offering. If you’re not paying you have no recourse.
When I was 15 I was really concerned that I’d always be attracted to 14 year old girls. I’m in my 40s now and 30 year olds look like babies to me.
A friend of mine from Hawaii would go to Las Vegas for their class reunions. So many left Hawaii that it is t practical to hold it there.
Linus Torvalds uses MacBooks.
I saw KISS a few years ago. Paul Stanley led the crowd in the pledge of allegiance because “patriotism is cool”. I want to know if they incorporate that into their avatar show.
I was expressing personal opinion, which is influenced by some known facts. Tesla employees shared videos recorded from cars on their company instant messaging system, which suggests lax controls (lawsuit too). They even passed around images of Elon Musk’s garage.
Elon Musk also personally canceled the Model X order of a buyer who criticized him. That level of pettiness suggests contempt for Tesla buyers and owners. Is the personal data for an active Tesla owner who criticizes him off-limits?

Zero Labs. They’ve got a few models for sale but are really looking to raise capital.
You know there are absolutely zero controls on privacy for Tesla telemetry data. It’s wild to me that a car that is really quite a bit simpler than an ICE car is required to be perpetually online. That said, I saw there’s a company trying to offer electric retrofits for ICE vehicles, primarily classic cars, but that’s likely to be closest to what you want.
If you’ve got two video cards, which is pretty much the case for anyone with an Intel cpu, then gpu pass through solves many problems. I really only use a Win10 VM for games and Adobe software plus one piece of work software. I think whether your overall point is valid or not depends on what you need Linux for and how much you still depend on Windows apps. To be honest the nicest piece of software available on Windows and not other apps is Nvidia Broadcast. You could use OBS to get your blurred background on Discord but that’s really too much work.
I think whatever Valorant has is the main issue. Back 4 Blood also doesn’t work for some reason, nor does it work in a Windows VM.
Wow that guy just likes to argue.
I use Firefox Focus as a plugin for Safari on iOS. This article threw up a full page ad begging me to turn off my content blocker before letting me view the article.
