Still sad to see Hellboy there, I was hoping it would be a good game.
Let me guess, you use arch?
buggy as hell
No it wasn’t
viruses and security holes
That has nothing to do with GUI
The graphical user interface.
A million times this. Not only did they popularize the ideas, but MacOS’s UI design was so ahead of its time that it’s barely changed since then. It was by far the most polished operating system at the time. Old Apple actually was innovating while the market was kind of stagnant.
This screenshot was in 2007. The competition was Windows Vista. It’s a night and day difference. I had this version of the iMac at the time and was super impressed, even if I did switch back to Windows a couple of years later. Looking back at it, it still looks quite “modern”.
Android’s compatibility has been a mess for all of time really but I feel like it’s gotten to a new low recently. It’s kind of crazy how many games or apps that are only a few years old won’t work on newer versions of Android anymore.
It really sucks for everyone. Not only videos and important company data, reportedly the entire story of Wolverine was leaked and some people are posting spoilers for it. Now they’ll feel compelled to change it.
I hear a bit from my friends that really enjoy the game, they play whenever a new update is out but there doesn’t seem to be that much content or staying power compared to most MMOs.
I’m so excited for it, been following it ever since Garry Newman said he started working in source 2. It looks much more powerful than Gmod ever was. Too bad the way to get into the closed beta is a complete nightmare (you had to enter a raffle every day and have maybe a 1/700 chance of being selected)
I’ll be the first to buy it as long as they don’t mess up the monetization and turn it into something like Roblox. But I trust Newman, he hates that stuff as much as I do.
Shoutout to their dumb devlog videos too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L6xF5POhNU
Awesome news. Bless the regulators fighting back.
As a result of the termination, Adobe will be required to pay Figma a reverse termination fee of $1 billion in cash.
This does bring a smile to my face. Maybe companies will actually stop trying to mass acquire everything when there are risks involved.
Old news, they already have implemented it around 2 weeks ago. I moved to LogSeq, it’s a bit more complicated than Evernote but it’s a really good alternative. Open source too.

Aaaand you got me thinking of Silksong’s release date again
Yikes, you’re projecting so hard

I’m not saying there’s no such thing as artistic nudity, I’m saying that believe it or not Twitch ISN’T a curated art museum and believe it or not people DID use it in bad faith to make pole dancing streams, strip teasing streams, streams where they generate nude AI images, etc.
Believe it or not, it isn’t a hard problem when people act in good faith. Rather than just immediately noping out because a bunch of assholes
That’s hilarious, because calling everyone who doesn’t agree with you an asshole isn’t a good faith argument
How about if you want to see it, go look for it? You’re really suggesting they should add nudity on my feed and I should just look away?
There is nothing wrong with nudity.
Lol so every site should feature nudity now? Will you be happy when Twitch turns into onlyfans? As if there aren’t enough places on the internet someone can go to for showing off their body.
First of all, it was under Twitch’s version of “artistic nudity” which is part of why they rescinded the statement
And you either allow something or you don’t. Part of the reason this whole fiasco happened is because Twitch wasn’t very clear on what was and wasn’t allowed. If you allow artistic nudity paintings, what’s going to stop people from saying hentai is just artistic nudity? Or AI generated porn, like the article was talking about? It’s a pain in the ass, and Twitch isn’t the place for it despite the discussion anyways…
There are a million sites one can go for camgirls and strip teases, and Twitch shouldn’t be one of them. It’s a site about gaming streams. The only reason Twitch did this in the first place is to try and save face when people accused them of disproportionately banning female streamers. It was a bad move from the start.

Everything about it seems usable but only 32gb of storage is a total dealbreaker imo. Android itself will already take half that space and you will struggle not filling up the dozen gb with apps and downloads. Remember, not everything can be moved to an SD card.
It’s about as good as you can get for a new phone at $100, but in this case I’d just recommend buying something second hand or spending more to get something good.
