I don’t think there’s anything better or worse with using fractions versus decimal. Numbers are numbers… but your example just shows you have a •preference• for one method over the other. Not that either is subjectively better.
Your last example is literally exactly the same precision. Did you struggle with “significant figures” in school… lots of people raised in American schools do.

The way employers work. There is no such thing as satisfied. By definition they want every single ounce of your existence to be spent on their enrichment. I’m pretty certain salaries were invented as a mental wedge to expect more and more for the same money.

The counter argument is that the industry is dominated by the opposite. Low quality trash with flashy graphics and deep monetization. Publishing execs would read this kind of thing and demand to never publish a Linux game.

They call “refusing to be exploited” piracy. Generally industries where there are huge monopolies like media, groceries, and other such thing are most sensitive to this because they lack the ability to deal with outside pressures any more.
