Getting my Pinephone Pro up and running, and getting away from Google forever, finally. Also I’m gonna make the jump from Arch to either Gentoo and/or Guix, I think.

Yeah, I prefer a direct and honest approach. If it ends up that you lose friends over it, those friends may not be worth keeping.
Look at this guy and his bootstraps, everyone!
Khruangbin, MONO, Babe Rainbow, Kikagaku Moyo.
Because that’s the speech they like the most.
Seriously, this should be illegal. Every game blasts you with full volume and no way to turn it down until later. Then the reasonable setting is like 10%. I’m in the habit of taking my headphones off when I start a new game.
Just went to the Beach Blanket Bingo show. Hail Satan!
Pretty sure Hyprland will do this. I have seen it make some stupid small windows
Like putting too much air into a balloon!
Yeah Hyprland is great and very easy. Just make sure you have kitty installed or change the default config to use your preferred terminal and getting set up shouldn’t take long. The Hyprland docs also have tons of recommendations for other good software.
Linuxcommand.org is a great start. Writing shell scripts and using cli programs for things you actually need and will use will greatly accelerate learning. I stopped using a file manager entirely to force myself to learn how to get around, then switched to neovim from vscodium, taskwarrior instead of Obsidian Tasks, termdown for timers, etc. A tiling wm makes the transition easier imo because you can have many terminals open for visual multitasking. Like with anything, you’ll get better faster if you just do it a bunch and don’t be afraid to mess up and get your hands dirty.
I think you overestimate how much they care about doing illegal things. They will try it, and if someone can prove it’s illegal, they’ll pay a minor fine and stop, maybe. Otherwise they’ll get away with it. That’s how corps look at laws.
My favorite game of all time. Second is Portal 2.
37, California. I’ve never owned an automatic. More control, easier to repair, and a lot more fun if you live in the mountains like I do. Not so much fun when I have to drive in city traffic though.
I also am an aspiring game dev. What’s your stack? I’ve been working in Godot for a while now but might be migrating to Bevy to use Rust and ECS.
Most people don’t recognize how much work goes into game development and expect you to just crank out AAA content, it can be demoralizing working on your own. If you wanna chat and talk shop, hit me up!
Accessibility is important! Thanks for caring!
Got any favorites? I’m a car fan in general and I think there’s something interesting about pretty much every car
So what’s your favorite? I’ve been exclusively vaping for years now, no combustion in this house. So far my favorite devices are my TinyMight 2, Ditanium, and various Dynavaps with the Simrell FMJ if I’m using a torch. I have a DC elev8r too but my girlfriend banned it after I burned the shit out of myself and set a blanket on fire.
It’s not bad. I haven’t dug too much into it but it’s got the pokemon feel and I’ve enjoyed what I played of it.
