They technically do, it’s just averaged out with the rest of the occupation.They don’t. The numbers for Iraq start in 2008 and for Afghanistan in 2009 on this graphic.
A fair graph would go all the way back to the early 90s for Iraq and include deaths caused by US sanctions which by their own admission amounted to at least 500,000 children during the 1990s. As well the deaths of Palestine should go back to 1948 and the Nakba. We should not allow the historic crimes of Zionism or US imperialism to be whitewashed or swept under the rug by exclusively focusing on the crimes they are committing now.
