    Maybe one day Space X will be as advanced as government funded rocketry was 40 years ago, we’d better just keep throwing money at them to make sure.

        what amazing technological milestones have they hit aside from docking with the space station and putting a fucking car into orbit?

          Landing rockets.

          Full flow combustion.

          Each of those are groundbreaking especially to be done by a private company. I encourage you to look into spacex they are truly a marvellous company. Turn off your bias and look up some youtube videos.
