    The base will be for attracting talent from around the world to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem and digitalisation

    what they’re trying to say is that they want to hire more highly educated engineers who will work for a $12k salary

      For a Vietnam worker, that is good. For country receiving external money is good. The only one losing is the employee not receiving 150k a year and will not afford a new Tesla.

    Once Trump’s coronation happens, and he guts NATO, backing Russia instead,

    China is going to be rampaging Asia, creating its “Chinese Century” or “Chinese Dominion” empire.

    He’s a fool if he believes that Vietnam is going to be exempt from that.

    Modi’s India is relying on Russia, China’s economic-vassal-state to help it against China.

    That too is idiocy.

    I wish I’d known, decades ago, that no matter how idiot-proof a governance is, Nature can evolve better idiocy.

    I can see them using this to skate around export laws as well as a source for ultra-cheap labor.
