      Darn, I’ve been boycotting the Pixel ever since Google broke my 4 XL and tried to get me to pay to have them repair it.

      That’s by design - unfortunately only Pixel has the correct hardware for some security modules. You’d be less secure if you were able to install it on any other phone.

    I used GrapheneOS until my phone got too old and GrapheneOS didn’t support it anymore. Then I was forced to switch to LineageOS (or buy a new phone).

    GrapheneOS is great, but the downside is it only runs on a small number of models.

    I used it for a few months and liked it. I switched back to stock. I’m considering trying out /e/os on my Pixel 4a 5g but it bricked when flashing so I’m going to try to fix that tomorrow.
